I should be leaving for work but wanted to drop in and say HI! The electronic blackboard we use to distribute materials to the students stopped working over the weekend so the students couldn't get materials for class today. So when I get there I need to hit the ground running. Electronics!! a great advantage and a pain in the ***!

Good morning Carla and my Illinois friends!

I missed my support meeting on Saturday. I was all ready to go but then had to go back home because I needed my checkbook to cash a check . There was no way I was going to make it in time for the meeting. I was sad about it because my friend Sue called me and said she was going to make it! I haven't seen Sue in months. Plus catsie (sp?) was going too, and I was looking forward to meeting her.

I had a great time at the casino on Saturday/Sunday.  I was losing at first but in the end, came out equal. So, that's good!

Not much going on this week, just work and time to start planning on what I am going to take on the cruise that Pam and I are taking. It's less than 2 weeks away now!
YAY!!!

Hi There again,
We didnt get much rain our way. The storm dodged us. We are in Bradenton and it hit north of Tampa and we just got one band of stormy weather for about 10 minutes.
This storm is weird. Now it i****ting Alabama way.
Carla who is still trying to find a cheap flight for comming over the weekend. I dont think it is going to happen!!!!! 

Hi there! I'm a newbie and my name is Nina and I had RNY surgery on July 29 of this year. How can I join the Illinois group? I'm looking for some local support for my eating postop. I did really well for 3 weeks but now I'm struggling to switch over to more solid food. Is there a subChicago groupI live on the northside. Thanks in advance for your help.

Just popping in to say Congrats on your wls and welcome to the Illinois group.  I can't help you on a support group but maybe someone else on this board can.  You might want to ask on a seperate post asking for info.

Is there a specific time to check in for RollCall? Is there a direct link to here? I'm still trying to figure out how to navigate around this OH website.
BTW, I've lost 22lbs; 80 or so to go...And like others, I too have taken my step-d clothes shopping for her freshman year of  high school. (We've been good buds ever since I married her Dad when she was a *****y 7 y.o.)

You can post on the roll call at your convenience. Some people are on in the morning, some during the day, some at night. Some people just lurk.

Nina at the top of this page right after your on line name is a bookmarks section ppoint to it then click add bookmark then each time you log on just go there first then click on that link and it will bring you back here! You can bookmark all the forums on here that way. Then its a matter of remembering what order they are in!  Welcome to the board glad to have another great loser amoung us. Sorry I can not help you on the support group. I live in Peoria area and travel to Downers Grove for support since thats where my surgeon is!
